By Aaron Humes: Police are looking into the disappearance of 57-year-old Dora Palencia of San Ignacio Town, Cayo District, who last resided in Silk Grass, Stann Creek District, and 10-year-old Devan Thompson.
Devan’s mother Shaneene says she saw her son left with Dora for Dangriga on September 4th for a fishing trip that should have lasted three days. They should have returned by yesterday, Wednesday, but efforts to contact Dora have been fruitless and neither has been heard from.
According to Dora’s daughter Roshany Dubon, she told police her mother told her she was headed to San Ignacio. A police source informed BBN this morning that they are looking into the possibility that Palencia may have gone to Guatemala.
If you have seen either Dora Palencia or Devan Thompson, kindly contact the nearest police station or Crimestoppers at 0-800-922-8477.
