Belize Weather: Continued fair weather expected

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says generally fair weather continues countrywide. Skies today will be sunny and tonight partly cloudy. Showers will be isolated except for some this morning over the Toledo District.

High temperatures are 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 degrees inland, and 82 in the hills. Tonight, it will be 80 degrees along the coast, 74 inland, and 68 in the hills.

Winds are from the east at 5 to 15 knots; the sea state is choppy to moderate.

Tides are low at 9:39 this morning and 8:33 this evening and high at 4:01 this afternoon. Sunset is at 5:56 this evening and the sun will rise Tuesday morning at 5:40.

The extended forecast for Tuesday is continuing fair weather with isolated showers countrywide.
