BTB issues first prize in vaccination raffle, two prizes yet to be claimed

By BBN Staff: Today, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) issued the first of three cash prizes in its vaccination raffle.

The winner, Veronica Yuminame Leslie, came from Chunox in the Corozal District to collect her $2,500 cheque from the Minister of Tourism & Diaspora Relations, Anthony Mahler.

Leslie won with the vaccination code 109573, while two others winners have not yet come forward to claim their prize.

“The other two winning codes are 135131 and 128218 and the owners of these codes are highly encouraged to contact the BTB to collect their prizes,” the BTB said.

The BTB launched the raffle, a joint venture with the Ministry of Health and Wellness back in June. Those who were vaccinated between June 9-July 9 were automatically entered into the raffle.
