KHMH Morgue filled to capacity, bodies of deceased COVID patients not being claimed

By BBN Staff: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has confirmed that the morgue at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital morgue is at max capacity due to unclaimed bodies.

Sources tell BBN that several bodies of patients who have died from COVID-19 are still in the morgue, past the regulation 24-hour period for holding bodies for patients who died while infected.

The hospital authority is pleading with members of the public who have bodies to claim at the more to do so urgently.
