Man who allegedly stole over $1000 worth of goods granted bail

By BBN Staff: A 55-year-old man from Belize City, accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of items from a woman, was granted bail in the Magistrate’s Court today.

Marlon Blease appeared in court today answering to a single charge of theft, with respect to items dishonestly appropriated from Lisa Fisher.

Blease is accused of stealing her purse, cell phone, and other items totaling $1,220.

He was offered bail in the sum of $1,500 plus one surety of the same amount, which he met.

Blease is due back in Court #6 on November 12, 2021.
