By Benjamin Flowers: Today, the Government of Belize announced another price adjustment to the cost of fuel taking effect this week.
According to the Ministry of Finance, Regular gasoline will increase by 26 cents, from $11.12 to $11.38 per gallon and Diesel will increase by six cents, from $10.62 to $10.68 per gallon as of Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
Meanwhile, the prices for premium gasoline and kerosene will remain unchanged at $11.76 and $7.60 per gallon, respectively.
The Ministry said that the price changes reflect the current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international petroleum market and fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries from which Belize obtains its supplies.
This latest price adjustment is the 23rd for the year and the second for the month of September.
