Another Belizean dies from COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: A female in the Belize District is the 383rd death reported from COVID-19 in Belize since the start of the pandemic.

It is also the 49th death reported from COVID-19 since the turn of the year.

The Ministry of Health said has it is randomly taking samples to determine how prevalent the variants of the disease are in Belize until we have the capacity to isolate them. But until then it is unable to distinguish deaths due to individual variants such as Delta.
