Over 22,000 Belizeans take the jab in latest vaccination exercise

By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness has reported over 22,000 new vaccinations as its campaign continues across the country.

The MOHW’s latest vaccination report, issued for Tuesday, September 14, 2021, showed a total of 22,246 vaccinations.

There were 17,697 vaccinations of people 12-17 years, and 4,552 vaccinations of people 18 years and older.

The number of vaccinated people (received one vaccine dose) has gone up to 177,480, and the number of those fully vaccinated (received two vaccine doses) went up to 83,703.

The Ministry’s data includes the AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccines
