Almost 200 new cases of COVID-19 reported

By Benjamin Flowers: Another week of reporting new COVID-19 cases with triple digits comes to a close with just under 200 new cases reported today.

The latest national update from the Ministry of Health and Wellness shows 198 new cases detected from a sample batch of 1,482 tests.

The new cases were split between 107 females and 92 males.

The country’s national total for infections has reached 18,532, while the daily positivity rate stood at 13.8.

There were no new deaths connected to the virus reported.
