Belize Weather: Fair weather entering pre-Independence day weekend

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says weather conditions remain fair.

Skies will be sunny today with cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated with slightly more over the southern districts tonight.

High temperatures are 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 94 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight low temperatures are 83 degrees along the coast, 76 inland and 68 in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate.

Tides are high at 6:55 this morning and 8:25 this evening and low at 2:17 this afternoon. Sunset is at 5:53 and sunrise Saturday morning is at 5:41.

Similar weather trends continue through Saturday.
