Health Minister thanks U.S. for partnership and cooperation

By Aaron Humes: Minister of Health and Wellness Michel Chebat expressed gratitude for the support of the United States in making Belize more resilient in its fight.

The donation is timely to assist with the surge of COVID-19 cases and as a backup hospital in times of emergency such as a hurricane, and where needed elsewhere.

The Minister also thanked the leadership of the University of Belize for temporarily hosting the facility.
