By Aaron Humes: The Charge d’affaires for the United States Embassy in Belize, Leyla Moses-Ones, reminded the nation that Washington stands with Belize on the battleground of the pandemic.
There are plans in the works for a donation of an oxygen concentrator and supplies as part of continued support to help Belize prevent more infections, mitigate already established infections and cooperate with the Government and people.
The hospital costs U.S.$1.1 million.
Kevin Bostick of Southern Command says the hospital is adaptable to any condition.
This is a gesture of partnership and teamwork that will continue, he said.
