By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service continues to call for mainly fair conditions.
Today, Sunday, skies will be mostly sunny in the daytime and partly cloudy tonight. Showers will be isolated with a chance of afternoon inland thunderstorms and slightly more activity over the south tonight.
High temperatures are 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 94 degrees inland, and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s temperatures will reach 81 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland, and 67 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is light chop.
Tides are high at 8:46 this morning and 9:31 this evening and low at 3:33 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:51 this evening and rises at 5:41 Monday morning.
On Monday expect a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over central and northern areas, decreasing to isolated showers or thunderstorms on Independence Eve Night.
