Zenaida Moya handed two more charges

By Aaron Humes: Zenaida Moya faces two more charges in relation to yesterday’s protest in Belize City.

According to Krem News, charge sheets for failing to call off a protest to disperse when asked to do so by a police officer and failure to obtain permits for protest were laid today.

This brings to a total of 5 charges she now faces over the Rally for Freedom protest on Saturday, September 18 during which she was arrested.

She says she was called to the police station again and describes this as being politically targeted.

Police shadowed the marchers from Battlefield Park to the site of Moya’s arrest on Freetown Road and also halted a caravan coming from the west to participate at La Democracia.
