COVID-19 vaccination continues in the Cayo area this week

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: COVID-19 vaccination for persons 18 and over continues being conducted by the Ministry of Health and Wellness in San Ignacio-Santa Elena, Benque Viejo del Carmen, Arenal, and Bullet Tree.

In San Ignacio-Santa Elena, vaccinations will be ongoing at the Victor Galvez Stadium daily from Monday to Friday, except Tuesday, September 21, from 9am to 3pm and on Saturday from 9am to 12 noon.

On Wednesday, September 22, vaccinations will be administered at Drs Kevin & Kenneth Guerra Polyclinic II in Benque Viejo del Carmen from 8am to 3pm and at the Bullet Tree Clinic from 8am to 3pm as well.

There are also vaccination posts expressly for persons ready for their second shot. On Wednesday, September 22, they may visit the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council parking lot; on Thursday, September 23, the Hillview Basketball Court; and on Thursday, September 24, the Bullet Tree Clinic from 8am to 3pm, plus Arenal and San Miguel Farms.

“Before you relax, get vax,” says the Ministry of Health and Wellness as they continue encouraging Belizeans to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide.

Any person who already got the first dose and eight weeks have passed, may can go in for the second dose.
