COVID-19 vaccination in Arenal, Cayo District scheduled for Thursday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: COVID-19 vaccination for persons 12 years and over will be conducted in the village of Arenal in the Cayo District on Thursday, September 24.

Cayo West representative Jorge Espat said vaccination will be conducted at the residence of Mirto Naj from 8 am.

Vaccinations are for all persons 18 and over getting either their first or second AstraZeneca vaccine. The one-dose Johnson and Johnson Janssen vaccine will also be available.

Persons between 12 and 17 can also get their Pfizer vaccine.

Persons getting vaccinated need to have their Social Security Card or some other form of vaccination.

They are also being reminded to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

“Before you relax, get vax,” says the Ministry of Health and Wellness as they continue encouraging Belizeans to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide.

Any person who already got the first dose and eight weeks have passed may go in for the second dose.
