Guanacaste National Park is open again

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: “Following its closure over the weekend, we are pleased to announce that Guanacaste National Park is now open once again,” said a social media post by the Belize Audubon Society (BAS) on Monday.

The Guanacaste National Park is located at the junction between the George Price and Hummingbird Highways by the National Agricultural and Trade Show Grounds next to Roaring Creek and Belmopan.

“All BAS parks are currently open 7 days a week, from 8 am – 4.30 pm,” said the BAS.

However, the BAS advised all visitors to “take all necessary health and safety precautions when visiting and explore responsibly”.
