Belize Weather: Weather cools down with some showers countrywide

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service projects sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur countrywide,.increasing over inland areas this afternoon and evening.

High temperatures are 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northeast at 0 to 5 knots; the sea state is slight.

High tide comes up at 10:50 this morning and 10:50 this evening and low tide at 5:05 this evening. Sunset occurs at 5:48 this evening and sunrise on Thursday morning is at 5:41.

On Thursday expect a few lingering showers or isolated thunderstorms over the country.
