Belize Weather: A mostly rainy day in store

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says that as a result of mostly moist and unstable conditions, skies will be cloudy at times with showers and thunderstorms along some of the coast and offshore this morning, mostly inland this afternoon, then redeveloping but decreasing along the coast and offshore later tonight.

High temperatures are 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 91 degrees over inland areas, and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight, low temperatures reach 79 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 73 degrees inland, and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northwest at 5 to 10 knots and the sea state is slight.

High tide is at 11:27 this morning and at 11:17 this evening and low at 5:34 this evening. The sun sets this evening at 5:47 and rises at 5:41 Friday morning.

Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated on Friday with slightly more activity over inland areas in the afternoon.
