Breaking: At least one person shot this evening on Simon Lamb Street

By Aaron Humes: Reports to Breaking Belize News are that there was a shooting incident approximately half an hour ago in Northside Belize City.

Video from the scene suggests that at least one and as many as two persons were shot in the vicinity of Simon Lamb and Kelly Streets between the old Belize Technical College campus and Chon Saan Palace. One of the victims is heard calling for water as passersby deliberate on taking them to the hospital.

Eventually, both men were taken to hospital and police are presently on the scene. We await further details on this developing story.
