Health authorities report over 240 new cases of COVID-19

By Benjamin Flowers: According to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, more than 240 Belizeans have been newly diagnosed with COVID-19.

The latest daily report confirms 244 new cases detected from a sample batch of 1,684 tests.

New cases were split between 119 females and 125 males.

The country’s national total for infections has reached 19,429, while the daily positivity rate stood at 8.04.

There were two new deaths associated with the virus.
