Ministry of Health and Wellness makes clarification on vaccinated deaths

By Benjamin Flowers: Today, the Ministry of Health and Wellness issued a clarification on the number of vaccinated COVID-19 patients that have died.

The Ministry notes that in the daily report for September 23, 2021, an unvaccinated person was incorrectly tallied as vaccinated.

“Yesterday in the cumulative death graphic an unvaccinated death was misclassified as fully vaccinated. The actual total of fully vaccinated deaths from August 1st to September 23rd is ten (10) and not eleven (11). Four (4) in the 50-59 age group, and six (6) in the 60+ age group,” the Ministry said.

Since August – September 24, there have been 64 COVID-19 related deaths, with 40 of them occurring between September 3-24.

There were three new deaths reported today.
