Belize Weather: Fair weather prevails but showery activity picks up tomorrow

By BBN Staff: Generally, fair weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells and isolated showers or thunderstorms, with an increase in activity tonight in the south.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 degrees inland, and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight it will be 80 degrees along the coast, 73 inland, and 66 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 20 knots and the sea state is slight.

Tides will be high at 12:49 this afternoon and low at 6:32 this evening. The sun sets at 5:46 this evening and rises at 5:42 Sunday morning.

Similar conditions prevail on Sunday with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially over the South.
