Belize Defense Force soldier dies following road traffic accident

By BBN Staff: Today, the Belize Defense Force has lost another of its soldiers in a traffic accident that occurred earlier in Dangriga.

Private Karl Wayne was riding a motorcycle near the Hummingbird Drug Store in Dangriga Town when he collided with a vehicle.

He was rushed to the Southern Regional Hospital but died of his injuries while undergoing treatment.
