Belize Weather: Mix of sunshine and showers

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells in the daytime today and partly cloudy becoming cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and thunderstorms will develop mainly over the south and coast today and in the south tonight and early tomorrow.

High temperatures are 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 inland and 80 in the hills. Tonight it will be 78 degrees along the coast, 74 inland and 66 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 10 knots and sea state is slight.

High tide is at 1:38 this afternoon and low tide at 7:01 this evening. The sun sets at a quarter to six and rises at 5:42 Monday morning.

On Monday skies will be partly cloudy with only isolated showers and thunderstorms.
