By Benjamin Flowers: Over the period September 25-27, there have been over 340 newly-reported cases of COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The latest national update on the COVID-19 situation shows a total of 345 new cases, for an average of 115 per day during the three-day period.

The new cases were detected from among a total of 3,463 samples.

New cases were split between 183 females and 162 males. The positivity rate for the three-day period was 10.3.

Belize has now confirmed a total of 19,945 reported cases.

There were three new deaths associated with the virus.
