By Aaron Humes: The Toronto Sun reports that the sister of Jasmine Hartin was recently arrested in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, in a drug investigation.
Jacinta Hartin, 35, was arrested and charged on September 17 as part of an ongoing cocaine trafficking investigation by the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit, a family friend said.
Cops say members of the Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit assisted with the execution of the warrant at a residence on the city’s Bishop Street. A female was located in the residence and arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
Officers found a quantity of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, MDMA, Adderall pills and evidence of drug trafficking, according to a press release. Jacinta Hartin is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and was released with a future court date.
Jasmine, 32, is out on bail here where she faces a prison sentence and the loss of her children after she shot, accidentally she claims, Senior Superintendent Henry Jemmott in May. She is back to court in San Pedro Town in October.
Meanwhile, CBS’s 48 Hours is airing a special report this Saturday on Jasmine’s trials and tribulations.
