Planned power outage in effect for Stann Creek District

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) reminds customers in Stann Creek that the power outage being experienced this morning is planned.

The outage affecting the entire Placencia Village and a portion of Placencia Road from The Village Inn to Turtle Inn, today, Tuesday, September 28, is scheduled to run from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

BEL explained that the outage was necessary, ” to install voltage regulator tank to normalize quality of power supply in the area.”
