Armed robbery reported at Chinese shop in Belize City

By Aaron Humes: There was a robbery reported this morning on Tibruce Street at a grocery store.

Owner De Suo Li reported to authorities that he was held up by a masked dark-skinned man in an orange t-shirt who first asked for cigarettes and then demanded money.

Owner De Suo Li handed over 300 dollars in cash and the assailant then walked off toward the riverside.

Police are investigating.
