Over 100 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Belize District

By BBN Staff: The Belize District has again reported the most new COVID-19 cases for a single area, in the latest daily update by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Of the 278 new cases reported today, the Belize District reported 114 of them, with 97 cases coming from Belize City alone.

The Stann Creek District reported 49 new cases, and Cayo followed close behind with 40 new cases.

Toledo was next in line with 25 new cases, Orange Walk was behind with 21, and San Pedro Town with 20.

Corozal, which has managed to keep new cases relatively low when compared to other areas in the country, only reported 11 new cases.
