Prime Minister John Briceño to discuss tourism with director general of Mexico’s Tourism Board

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Prime Minister John Briceño is today having talks on tourism and going on a cultural tour of Mexico City along with the Belize delegation as part of his one-week State visit to Mexico.

This morning, the Prime Minister will have a meeting with Rogelio Jiménez Pons, Director General of Mexico’s Tourism Board, el Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo (FONATUR).

Then, this afternoon, the Mexican Foreign Ministry is taking the Belize delegation on a cultural tour of the Templo Mayor, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

On Thursday, the Belize delegation will visit the state of Morelos and returns to Mexico City where Prime Minister Briceño will meet with President López Obrador on Friday.

On Tuesday, the Belize delegation had productive meetings with the Bank of Mexico, the Ministry of Agriculture, the National System for the Development of Families, and the Mexican Employers Association.

The Belize delegation returns home on Saturday.
