By BBN Staff: Belize City resident Peter Sutherland, 32, walked free from a charge of attempted robbery this week after police were unable to locate the victim to have him testify in court.
Sutherland appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday when the police prosecutor informed the court that the victim Mark Stevens, who had alleged that Sutherland pulled a knife on him and attempted to rob him, could not be located despite several attempts.
He left the courthouse a free man.
