Belize District continues trend of reporting most new COVID-19 cases

By BBN Staff: There were 202 new cases of COVID-19 reported today, and the Belize District reported most of them.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports that the Belize District represented 65 of the day’s total for new cases, with 53 of those coming from Belize City alone.

Cayo was next in line with 47 cases, followed by Stann Creek with 31 cases, and Toledo with 28 cases.

Toledo was next in line with 33 new cases, Orange Walk was behind with 20, and San Pedro Town with 17.

San Pedro, Orange Walk, and Corozal had the lowest number of reported cases, with 15,9, and 7 cases respectively.
