Belize has recorded over 21,000 cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The national total for confirmed COVID-19 cases has gone over 21,000, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The Ministry’s latest daily report showed a total of 202 newly-confirmed cases, which brought the national total up to 21,003.

Those new cases were detected from a sample batch of 1,895 tests and had a daily positivity rate of 10.8.

New cases were split between 110 females and 92 males.

There were also four new deaths associated with the virus.
