Posted: Monday, October 4, 2021. 4:26 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: Albert area representative Tracey Taegar-Panton has offered an immediate response to today’s fire on Albert Street on the road to Birds Isle.

Two families lost all they had and the area rep explained, “The Albert Action Committee and I have met with these families and have offered some immediate assistance to help them find a place to stay as an interim measure until they can begin the process of sorting themselves out.”

She adds, “As we all know this is already a difficult time. If you are able and willing to assist these families in any way, please feel free to contact our Albert Office so we can put you in touch with them directly. Your kindness at such a difficult time will be sincerely appreciated. Each one help one.”

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
