BREAKING: Trial dates for minor charges for Jasmine Hartin as disclosure given

Jasmine Hartin has been told she will be tried for charges of possession of controlled drugs and common assault next February.

The police prosecutor handed over full disclosure in both cases before Magistrate Christina Peyrera and the Magistrate set trial dates in both cases for February 16, 2022.

Hartin was joined by her mother Candice Castiglione in court but attorney Richard “Dickie” Bradley was absent.

On the matter of manslaughter by negligence, the case was adjourned to December 9, 2021.

81 pages of partial disclosure were given but the prosecutor indicated that due to further new developments in the case, time was needed to provide the remainder.

The court does expect it will provide the remainder of the disclosure for what will be an indictable matter by that time.

Hartin indicated she wanted time to discuss the documents with Bradley before giving further comments. She remains out on bail with conditions.
