FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying resumes this week

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Of the 32 countries that will play the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 of football, only hosts Qatar are qualified. The other 31 will come from heated qualifiers which resume on Wednesday, October 6 around the world.

The CONCACAF World Cup qualifying matches can be seen on NBC’s Telemundo Deportes, Universo, CBS, FoxSports.com, FS1, TUDN, and other regional channels.

Thursday, October 7

The USA vs Jamaica – 5:30 pm

Honduras vs Costa Rica – 6:05 pm

Mexico vs Canada – 7:40 pm

El Salvador vs Costa Rica – 8:05 pm

Sunday, October 10

Costa Rica vs El Salvador – 4:00 pm

Jamaica vs Canada – 4:00 pm

Panama vs USMNT – 4:00 pm

Mexico vs Honduras – 5:00 pm

Wednesday, October 13

USA vs Costa Rica – 5:00 pm

Canada vs Panama – 5:30 pm

Four of the eight teams left in the CONCACAF tournament will qualify for the World Cup, with a fifth team making an inter-confederation playoff, scheduled for June 2022.

Four teams also qualify from CONMEBOL, the South America confederation. Like CNCACAF, the fifth-place team goes to the inter-confederation playoffs, scheduled for June 2022.
