Jasmine Hartin returns to court on consolidated charges

By Aaron Humes: Jasmine Hartin is back in court this morning on separate charges of manslaughter by negligence, common assault, and possession of controlled substances specifically cocaine.

She is accused of negligently killing Senior Superintendent of Police Henry Jemmott in May and also having a minute amount of cocaine on her on that date. Later she was accused of assaulting a hotel employee while trying to see her twin children with estranged partner Andrew Ashcroft.

Police are continuing to build the case of the former but Hartin has counterattacked with an appearance on CBS’ 48 Hours insisting that the shot was fired by accident.

We are at court and await further developments.
