Most of City currently without power during evening thunderstorm

By Aaron Humes: Belize Electricity Limited crews have been dispatched to investigate and identify the cause of an unplanned power outage currently affecting Belize City.

The area affected is from Mile 1 on the Phillip Goldson Highway to Mile 1 on the George Price Highway, since 8:18 PM this evening.

BEL says it hopes to restore the power supply as soon as possible.
