294 new cases, one death as active cases pass 2,500

By Aaron Humes: 2,549 active cases of COVID-19 exist in Belize according to data from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

This is after 294 new cases were added today and 231 persons were declared recovered.

Nearly 900 samples (896) are under investigation.

One person has died, bringing the recent death count up to 66 and the total to 427.

Belize has passed 22 thousand total cases and 19 thousand recoveries.
