53 persons hospitalized, intensive care admissions jump to 16

By Aaron Humes: From ten yesterday, the number of admissions to intensive care units in relation to COVID-19 is up to 16, with a total of 53 persons hospitalized.

There continues to be a majority of persons in both cases who were unvaccinated upon entering the hospital.

The national positivity rate stands at 8.45 percent of all tests given to 262,695 individuals.

86.5 percent of all infected have recovered while 1.92 percent have died.

There are more females (1,360) than males (1,189) actively ill, and more males than females recovered and dead by a count of 266 to 161.
