By Aaron Humes: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has been informed that a fire broke out just after 9:00 pm tonight at Plett’s Home Builders main compound in Spanish Lookout.
The fire reportedly broke out in the area where the lumber is kiln dried before being used to construct homes for Plett’s customers.
The community quickly mobilized, with various residents responding with their water trucks. Up to the posting of this story the fire was being brought under control and had not caused any serious damage, especially to the nearby homes under various stages of construction.
As the fire occurred after curfew hours, community residents say that the Police were informed and assisted in the smooth coordination efforts to out the fire.
