Malique Medwood is latest Belize City murder victim

By Aaron Humes: Police have confirmed that Malique Medwood, 21, shot last night on Ebony Street near the UNO Gas station, died of his injuries in the hospital earlier this morning.

Medwood was found with a gunshot injury to his head just before 8 p.m. but was transported to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital alive.

Initial investigation reveals that Malique Medwood was walking on the left-hand side of Ebony Street going towards the direction of Youth for the Future Drive when two men onboard a motorcycle came from behind and fired several shots towards the direction of Medwood causing him the said injuries.

Police investigations continue.
