Ministry of Health and Wellness keeps calling people for their 2nd vaccine dose

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) is again calling on people to come out for the 2nd COVID-19 vaccine dose.

“Please return for the second dose of your AstraZeneca Covid19 vaccine. Persons can return after eight weeks,” said the MOHW on Wednesday.

The MOHW says a second dose provides greater immunity against the coronavirus.

So far over 200,000 people have been vaccinated at least once. 144,000 plus have been fully vaccinated.

The MOHW continues its vaccination campaign as COVID-19 cases are on the rise.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has vaccination sites all over the country, normally at health centers and schools. In some villages, vaccinations are held in people’s residences.

The MOHW vaccines include AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson (Janssen), and Sinopharm for the 18 and overpopulation and Pfizer, particularly for the 12 to 17-year-olds.
