Ministry of Health & Wellness opens a new Facebook account

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health & Wellness issued a statement a short while ago informing the public that its present Facebook account has been hacked.

“As a result, the ministry is unable to access the page, one of its primary mediums of communication. Therefore, any activity that may continue on that page is not endorsed by the ministry,” the release noted.

The Ministry is inviting the public to follow the new Facebook account of the Ministry of Health & Wellness at the following link: 

https://www.facebook.com/Ministry-of-Health-Wellness-100555605747870 

“Official information can also be accessed from the Ministry of Health & Wellness’ Instagram Page at @ministryofhealthandwellness. The ministry apologizes for any inconvenience caused and urges the public and the media to contact the ministry’s Communication Unit to verify the information”, the release further stated.  

The Ministry ended the statement by saying that they are working earnestly for the benefit of all Belizeans.
