Taiwan Ambassador meets Overseas Engineering & Construction Company (OECC) to discuss progress of the Corozal-Sarteneja Road Upgrading Project

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Republic of China (Taiwan) Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien met James Yun-Yeh Hsiao, General Manager of the Overseas Engineering & Construction Company (OECC) of Taiwan, and his team in Belize on Friday.

Both discussed the progress of the “Corozal-Sarteneja Road Upgrading Project”, which according to the Taiwan Embassy “will benefit local communities tremendously, as well as boost the economic development in the Northern Region of Belize”.

“The Embassy of Taiwan and OECC will continue to jointly work closely with the Government of Belize to enhance the welfare of Belizean people,” said the Taiwan Embassy.
