Three vaccination sites open in Belize City on Saturday morning

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Three vaccination sites open in Belize City on Saturday morning (October 9) according to the Central Health Region in the Ministry of Health & Wellness.

If you’re getting your first vaccine or your second, you may visit the Central Health Region, the Matron Roberts Polyclinic, or the Fort George Resource Center.

Vaccinations are ongoing at these three sites from 8am to midday today.

The Central Health Region is located behind the old Bliss Nursing Center in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital compound (access between Social Security Board and the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital off Princess Margret Drive or next to Social Security on St Joseph St).

The Ministry of Health and Wellness publishes its schedules on its Facebook page.

“Before you relax, get vax,” says the Ministry of Health and Wellness as they continue encouraging Belizeans 12 years and up to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide. Plus, if you already got the first dose and it’s time, you can go in for the second dose.
