Launch Date to be Announced for Digital COVID-19 Vaccination App

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness has announced that further to our story on a digital vaccination app to be known as the MOHW Health Pass, no date has in fact been set for its launch.

“The application is still in the trial phase and details for the launch of the Government of Belize digital COVID-19 vaccination app will be officially announced,” it said in a statement this afternoon.

The Ministry claims information on the app shared on social media is unofficial and was leaked by persons at the ministry.

The ministry continues to encourage the public and the media to contact its Communications Unit to verify any information that is in circulation.
