Thunderbolt Water Taxi names and shames American pair who skipped payment

Posted: Monday, October 11, 2021. 7:35 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes:  Thunderbolt Water Taxi of Corozal Town has issued a warning by social media against a couple who took their service and allegedly failed to pay.

The business wrote on its Facebook page: “They contacted our business to take our morning run from Sarteneja to San Pedro today October 11th. Requested to pay upon arrival. As most of you know, we always try to cooperate with our customers so we agreed but this is despicable.

Promised to return to pay their passages and did not follow our protocol for one person to remain behind with luggage and the other to retrieve the funds and come back to pay.”

“They” have been identified as Sean Patrick McCartney and Dana Robin Sather, both American according to their passports. No other particulars were available.

If you recognize them contact 628-8590 or 422-0026 in Corozal Town.
