Belize Bank Placencia Branch closes permanently next month

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize Bank announced that it is permanently closing its Placencia Branch on November 18, 2021, and will be opening a new branch next door in Independence.

“It has been a pleasure serving you from our Placencia Branch and we look forward to welcoming you to our new Independence Branch location at Big Creek Road in Independence Village after closure,” said a statement by Belize Bank.

Belize Bank said it is continuing serving the Placencia area directly through its ATMs at M&M Hardware on Main Road in Placencia and at Publics Supermarket in Seine Bight Village.

The bank also advises its customers that its digital banking channels are available.

“These include: Belize Bank Mobile Banking App and Online Banking services, ATMs, Belize Bank debit and credit cards and E-Kyash,” said Belize Bank adding that their “Belize Bank representatives will be fully available to serve you for merchant services and E-Kyash”.
